We are excited to announce that the Tarana Wireless Remote Node is the world’s first FCC-certified Fixed Client, with FCC certification issued on February 16, 2024 (FCC ID: 2ABOF-G1RN6AHB012).
Automatic Frequency Coordination (AFC) is a technology used to efficiently manage and allocate wireless spectrum, preventing interference and ensuring effective spectrum utilization. AFC ensures that these devices do not interfere with each other in the U-NII-5 and U-NII-7 for outdoor operation.
The Persistent Inquiry Approval (PIA) procedure is required for Fixed Client certification, which includes submitting a Geolocation General Description, a Geolocation Justification Report, and a Geolocation Accuracy after Power Cycle description, as outlined in KDB 987594 D01.
Sporton is experienced to support customer to perform AFC Fixed Client related testing. We are well prepared to test the 6GHz equipment, and have worked with our customers to obtain approval certificates in the shortest lead-time successfully. We are always here to support testing and approval of your products.
